“The Eyes Have It” is one of three pieces that brought me back to the drawing board after the Beachie Creek Fire of Labor Day Weekend 2020 took our house and all of our possessions. While on a road trip tour of the Northern Cascade Loop of Washington, we spent some time in Twisp, WA. The Confluence Gallery was preparing to host a Holiday Art Show: “10 x 10″ – A Riot of Color”. The theme for the show was all work had to be monochromatic and no larger than 10″ x 10″, which was perfect for me. I was able to show the curators of the show my website and get juried into the show. “Wild Thing”, “The Eyes Have It” and
Bearly Awake” are the end result of that show and will now be added to the website. “The Eyes Have It” was completed using a combination of pointillism and stroke work. The original is framed at 10″ x 10″ and is part of my collection at this time.
